Blend Compromise.

The mid-layer category has spent two decades solving single problems by adding complexity. Polyester fleece sheds microplastics and cannot be recycled cleanly. Merino-polyester blends trade recyclability for cost efficiency. Superwash-treated merinos introduce chemistry the next regulation will penalise. Each iteration defers the problem. None resolves it.

Microplastic Generation

"Synthetic fleece sheds fibres every wash cycle. No filter catches them all."

Blend Complexity

"A merino-polyester bi-component cannot be recycled as either material."

Chemistry Burden

"Superwash resin is an AOX-generating chlorination process. Regulatory exposure is not resolved."

One keratin protein matrix. Mechanically structured. No chemistry added.

Mono-Material

No synthetic components. No coatings. No microplastic generation pathway in consumer use.

Zero Chemistry

No chlorination. No chemical finishing. GOTS-compatible processing pathway.

Structural Performance

Milled surface closes the fibre matrix. Performance characteristics under ISO evaluation.

ISO programme initiated. Results pending.
Unbroken Traceability

Single-estate. Identity-preserved from source to finished material. RWS-certified.

LYTEN™ is not limited to a single application. The same material applies across technical mid-layers, womenswear, travel tailoring, and elevated athleisure. The material does not change. The application expands.

The data your reporting function actually needs.

MONO•TERRA™ supplies primary farm-level environmental data with every material transaction. Batch-specific. Auditable. Structured for CSRD Scope 3 Category 1 reporting, DPP field population, and ESPR ecodesign dossiers.

Regulation Relevance MONO•TERRA™ Position
CSRD Scope 3 Cat. 1 Tier 1 supplier environmental data Primary farm data supplied per batch
ESPR Ecodesign Mono-material, no restricted substances LYTEN™ designed to ESPR alignment criteria
DPP (textile) Product-level traceability data Data infrastructure in development; batch provenance available now
EPR Eco-modulation End-of-life recyclability Mono-material keratin. Single fibre stream. No blend contaminants.

Regulatory enforcement timelines vary. M.T positions buyers ahead of compliance thresholds, not behind them.

Structured data. Every transaction.

Each LYTEN™ material delivery is accompanied by a batch-specific data record aligned to EPCIS 2.0 and GS1 Digital Link standards. Fields are structured for direct import into CSRD reporting systems, DPP interfaces, and brand-level environmental databases. No manual data entry required on the buyer side.

The record captures provenance, fibre specification, processing methodology, certification status, and chain-of-custody events from farm gate to finished material handoff. Data is primary — generated at source, not modelled or averaged. The structure follows open standards to ensure compatibility with third-party DPP systems and future regulatory portals.

Illustrative structure only. Field values are proxies. Live records are batch-specific and supplied with each material transaction.

Single source. Identity preserved.

Every batch of LYTEN™ originates from a single estate in Victoria, Australia. A seventh-generation family stud producing fine merino. The source is consistent. The provenance is unbroken. The data is primary — not modelled, not averaged, not inferred.
